I was desperate to get hold of this on Blu-ray as soon I heard the release date. As the UK release seems to have been delayed, I've had to turn to desperate measures to lay my hands on this copy. Thanks to TvBoxset and UPS priority shipping it arrived today, I have to say this is awesome.
I've seen a few mixed reviews so far, more positive than negative I'm pleased to say. I've been a fan of Jero's work right back in the early days of his first 5.1 electronic music remixes.
Like many other's I really do like some of Jero's more ambient stuff, but its great to see how his work has evolved over the years. The blend is seamless and after several listens, I'm still hearing new levels of complexity. The first thing that pops into mind when Detroit Techno is mentioned, making this a naughty lil' secret kept to self or shared when the vibe is right.
I've listened to a couple of times already today, but have to say the 7.1 experience far exceeds that of the 5.1 channels. Stand out tracks...Well they all are! If I had to put my finger onto one it would have to be "Parallel world". The tracks are much more enjoyable when you watch the Visuals. But , I find that bothersome because this music sould be able to stand on its own. This is real great work and one of the best listening experiences I've ever had.

I would definetly recommend this to anyone whether Jero's fan or not... If for no other reason, buy this album for the 7.1 surround sound track. It will blow you away. Keep up the good work Mr Surround.

I have several multi-channel SACDs/DVD-As. Pink Floyd 'DSOTM', Kitaro 'Sacred Journey of Ku-Kai', Jean-Michel Jarre 'Oxygene', etc... I knew that this was a music only Bluray disc and was excited to hear 7.1 surround.

The music is techno but not good techno. My DENON AVR-4308CI/DENON DVD-2500BTCI sounds better with stereo CDs then this disc.

The most troubling thing was that the slide show of pictures caused my player to spin the disc at a very high speed. Like a CD-Rom being read in my computer. Worried that it would wear out my brand new bluray machine and not being the least bit interested in the music or the slideshow of boring computer generated art - I hit eject and will never play this title again.

2 stars is being generous...

I heard Jero performing life back in 90's, Back then I never saw anybody to DJ the whole program directly from a synthesizer. Jero has been making electronic music in surround sound for a long time and with good reason, he's very good at what he does. Though this time it seems Jero is working his synthesizers and remixing his music in 7.1 in his unique techno style. Spatial Dynamics takes you on a 3-dimendional musical journey that does not stop. He takes you to new heights and just when you think you have reach the plateau, bam! he takes you to a another level. This Album is filled with infectious beats, cool new sounds, and rhythums that make your body have to move. You can use this Music Blu-ray at a dance party, as background music, just tern your home theater on and buckle your seatbelt. Jero pulls out all the stops on this one!! A must have for trance/techno enthusiast!!
