What's with these DVD companies?

I bought the entire series and it has been Exellent up to Season 7 Episode (Our Finest Hour). When you go to watch it, It says it is The Syndicated Version because the Original Print was Destroyed over time. And was Deemed Unworthy for this DVD release.
This really upsets me, let ME decide what's Unworthy and what's not.
Use both versions and let WE the buying public decide for ourselves.
Also, what they are telling us is that only the Cut out scenes were destroyed, I find that a little hard wo swallow. There were at least 5 minutes cut from each Half Hour. So they are saying that 95% of the show has survived the wrath of time but those few scenes cut from different parts of the show (For Syndication) did not. Feed me something else cus i'm not buying their story, Especially after what Lionsgate did to ALF.
To ALL of the DVD companies i say, If a show exists, put it on DVD in the Uncut and Syndicated versions. Let WE the buying Public decide if it's Worthy or Unworthy.

Season 7 for me is the worst season in the whole series. I don't know if it's because I know Radars leaving, or what, but they for sure hiccuped in this season.
The shows for the most part are good, but the creativity of seasons past just aren't there. I would have given the season 3 stars but there are a few bright spots that push it over the hump to 4 stars. They are:
The Episodes:
Peace on Us: great show with all the red!
Point of View: funny enough one of my favorite episodes in the whole series. I love it!
THe Party: I like it, even though it's a little Hokey, it's a feel good show.
Timeless!!

Mash is timeless, it related to the everyday world we live in even now. When Mash was first on television I did not get to see every episode because of school and work. Thanks to technology it will be preserved forever. I purchase the whole series, but found it was my teenaged son that enjoys it maybe even more than I do. Now even my pre-teen son likes to pop it in the recorder now and then; and yes if any of us are around we are drawn to this show. Where else can you get a witty, humorous, and thought provoking experience. There are those that do not like the fact that there were obvious changes with different characters. We loved them all. That is the way life is. People come and go in our lives all the time, we just have to learn how to make the most of it, and have fun while we are doing it
The M*A*S*H series is a must for your collection.
