4 out of 5 stars Done Great    January 8, 2009

I didn't think it was as funny as Big Lebowski but its pretty freaking smart. The Coens are brillant and I'll see anything they do because their such great flimmakers.

5 out of 5 stars Slapstick/Black Comedy    January 8, 2009

Not for all tastes, I guess based on all the disappointed reviews here, but my S-O & I really enjoyed it. Nice & light & zippy with some great send-up performances, especially from Pitt & Malkovitch.

What it is is a minor-key satire on contemporary life done in pure Coen Brothers style. I guess what people want these days is more computer-generated cartoons about chipmunks & bunnies pretending to be cute robots sweeping up a dystopian world.

Burn before watching is a more appropiate tittle, waist of my time seeing this unfunny dumb movie.

I couldn't even watch the whole thing. The commercial made it look very funny so I ordered it used. What a waste!

Honestly, I expected MUCH better movie from Brad Pitt and George Clooney. John Malkovich's lines seemed to center around "f***" as well. This movie was a waste of time and money, it's title should actually be "Burn After Seeing"
