Too many movies today lack effort and make up with special effects. Natural Born Killers is the opposite it tries too hard to be the perfect movie that it tends to be over the top. Just like a book there are the classics that you are forced to read and books that are shallow you want to read. Natural Born Killers feels like it is forced on you and for overall art and effort it is worth 5 stars but for enjoyment and a movie that you want to keep turning to it is a 3 star movie. I felt the movie had a tendency to drag on and in the end it was just too overbearing.

I love this movie, however tvboxset's site says the blu ray release here is unrated. It's not. The box has it rated R. This is not the Director's Cut. Don't waste your money on this edited release.

...this is turning into one of my favorite movies...
At first, i didn't enjoy it, but then i GOT it...and am falling in love with its style and characters, even though there really is NO good guy in the entire movie. But, in my opinion, this is Woody's BEST PERFORMANCE...
He, and Juliette Lewis were made for these roles...
The only "downer" is for true Tarantino fans...the "story" is from the original script Natural Born Killers by Quentin Tarantino...and to ture fans of his work, you can almost tell what lines and scenes Stoone tried to keep from the script, but put his own style into...
Don't get me wrong, I think this is a very important film that was easily overlooked that shows the world what TV and the Media really does for some peoples psyche...but I still want to see what Tarantino had visioned...
