5 out of 5 stars Bow Down To The King!!!    December 19, 2008
H.M. 2005
This two-disc DVD set is a chronicle of one of the most dominant and controversial Superstars in the WWE, and it's a good one. It details his beginnings in independent organizations, then his brief stint in World Championship Wrestling, where he wrestled as Terra Ryzing and Jean-Paul Levesque, respectively. Then, he is shown in his early days in WWE as Hunter Hearst Helmsley, the American Blueblood, wrestling some local talent in different towns. It chronicles his first singles title win, the Intercontinental Championship, winning it from Marc Mero in 1996. He then is shown winning King of The Ring 1997 from Mankind (Mick Foley) with Chyna at his side. He then is seen against Owen Hart for his European Title at Wrestlemania 14. He also faces Mankind (Mick Foley) again a couple of times, one match which results in him winning his first of 12 World Titles. He is seen in matches against Shawn Michaels, Batista, John Cena, Edge, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Nature Boy Ric Flair and Henry O. Godwinn, most of which he wins and wins the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship. There is a bit about his days in Degeneration-X and Evolution, but not a great deal. More about D-X can be found a separate DVD set. He is also seen as Number 22 entrant into the 2002 Royal Rumble, which he wins. There is also footage shown of his first match, against Flying Tony Roy, which is part of the rather skimpy extras on this set. I would give this set about a 4 1/2 out of five stars for the terrific compendium of his career, but I would've liked to see more extras. Whether you call him "The Game," The Cerebral Assassin" or "The King of Kings," this is one DVD set you must own.

4 out of 5 stars Evolution    November 14, 2008
Horror Inside (USA)
is a mystery, full of change that no one sees,
clock makes a fool of history
yesterdays too long ago
don't agree with what i know
tomorrow becomes the place to be...

The cover is insulting and ridiculous. The guy is just a professional wrestler, not a God. What makes him so great? He books himself to win and even has to use a sledgehammer to beat people. How pathetic!

4 out of 5 stars GREAT DVD MISSES ON SOME NOTES THOUGH    September 25, 2008
Joseph Lawson (Las Vegas)
This DVD did impress me on alot of points. Triple H is one of my favorites of all time and watching his documentary of his real life story timeline was great to see. I did however wish there were more of his MORE notable matches, A.K.A More of the SHawn Michaels feud, the DX rebirth, His involvement in the Montreal screwjob. They touch alot of the points but just went into the matches. they didnt alow Triple H to really talk alot which i thought was kinda silly. They did it 100% right with the Shawn Michaels DVD 3 disc set disc one being the biography and the other 2 being greatest matches. personally i liked that more. Great DVD though Worth the money

3 out of 5 stars Good but defiantly could have been Great    August 19, 2008

Triple H is known by many things, The Game, King of Kings, the Cerebral Assasian, and the 12 time world champion. Triple H is a former WWE champion, Intercontinental, European, Tag team, king of the ring, and royal rumble winner. Triple H is also a grand slam winner. This dvd is a good way to see the early days of the game but more could have been added.

Disc 1
This first disc is the best of the two. Triple H begins talking on where he began wrestling and who trained him. His days in WCW is briefly touched on and then coming to the WWE with the royalty gimmick. Describes how he really found his style while wrestling with Marc Mero. Winning the King of the Ring. Meeting Chyna and forming DX with her and Shawn Michaels. Finally breaking away from DX and becoming "The Game". Winning the WWE title and starting the McMahon/Hemsley era with his feud against Mick Foley. His quadricept injury in 2001 and coming back and winning the Royal Rumble.
