Amazing August 29, 2010 Patrick (Wisconsin, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What a total surprise this movie was. I was expecting another poorly made, poorly acted gay themed movie but this movie was actually pretty creepy! I mean like REALLY creepy! It takes many different turns and messes with your mind to the point where you don't know what's going on but it stays gripping throughout. Sadly, because of it's gay content, it wont be viewed by many straight people but this movie is really right up there with some of the best thrillers.
Looks Amazing!! August 4, 2010 A.S. 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found out about this from a UK website:

Made the film look so great, I'm eagerly awaiting the UK release. Check out the site though, it made me anxious for the film.
Pornography (2010) directed by David Kittredge July 18, 2010 Elisa (Italy) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Without doubt a well acted movie, more an horror than a thriller, all three stories are well plotted. Even if an indie production, the quality of it is very high, for once setting, sound and acting, all was up to an higher level than usual. I also liked a lot the contraposition between the p**n industry in the east and west coast, probably influenced also but the different period: Mark's experience is dark and cold, Matt instead is living in a world made of orange and red, light and music. There is also a different attitude of the two, and probably this will help the different development of their stories/life.
Choose Your Own Adventure Movie ! July 8, 2010 Walter Bowles 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I saw this film in Festivals and loved it. Very unique and tantalizing film. When I saw it again it was like a whole new film. I discovered new plots and characters that i had missed before.
The acting is great and the cinematography is perfect for a mystery film. Gonna watch it again !
An intense and mind-bending wonderland ... June 19, 2010 SGL Café (Jersey City, NJ) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
[Out IN Jersey Magazine review] -
Imagine being sucked into a nightmarish vortex while masturbating. Sex and horror and porn-stars commingle in that ever-changing world where dreams are real, lusty boyish angels are strangled, and every moment, real and imagined, is filmed and archived for the next traveler into this psycho-sexual circular Wonderland, where Alice is oiled and buff and the Hookah-Smoking Caterpillar is behind the camera. That's the feeling you get from Pornography: A Thriller.
David Kittredge -- who many know from his short film "Fairy Tale" from the acclaimed DVD anthology Boys Briefs, or from his second short Target Audience which was nominated for a Teddy award at the 2003 Berlin Film Festival -- delivers a thriller like no other with this feature directorial debut which premiered in April at Cinema Village in NYC.
Set in the gritty and unseemly world of gay porn production, the story focuses on the disappearance of a disaffected and disillusioned "boy-next-door" porn star named Mark Anton. Rumors abound about what happened to Mark, mostly involving his alleged last film requisitioned by a mysterious client. No one has ever seen that film, because, well, Mark is supposedly murdered in it. The following two acts of this three part thriller finds a writer researching Mark Anton's disappearance who stumbles onto a snippet of what appears to be the alleged snuff film (who most in the biz consider to be an urban legend), and another porn-star turned film-maker who channels Mark, feverishly pecks out a script, and proceeds on a ill-fated and haunted production of a porn-bio pic called The Mark Anton Story.
The mention alone of snuff films should lead one to believe this Kittredge movie is somewhat disturbing, but it's not. Although in keeping with its looping narrative, a second viewing may be desired; like getting off a rollercoaster and immediately giving it another go. David Kittredge is a film-maker who will be in my cross-hairs from this day forward. You will either love or hate Pornography: A Thriller, for there is no in between. Come what may, dust off the Hookah and enter this intense and mind-bending Wonderland for a viewing experience that you will almost certainly never forget. ~ Taylor Siluwé, author of Dancing With The Devil & Cheesy Porn...and other fairytales
