This is a fantastic exercise program, low impact, yet effective in toning and stretching. Some of the stretches have been very beneficial in loosening my chronically stiff back and shoulders, increasing my energy and balance/coordination. Very easy to follow. The insert of the doctor talking about the benefits of exercise is rather goofy, but offers an amusing chuckle.
Harder than it looks! Great workout, love it! July 7, 2010 Dawn Slavings (Central Illinois) I am amazed with this program. I have many workout DVD's and with bad knees I find I cannot do them without hurting the knees more. I read the reviews and decided to give Joel's DVD a try.
It looks simple when you are watching it and when you start following along it is quite a workout and I work up sweat. I love the fact that the three levels are right on the screen at the same time. I am intermediate except for the knees where I switch down to beginner and follow along with Joel's mother.
I feel totally invigorated when done with his workouts. Right now I am doing the lower body workout followed by the abs workout. The next day I do the upper body. I alternate these every other day. I love how good I feel when finished with them.
made for me July 4, 2010 shasha I had seen this workout on tv. I thought that this would be something I could do easily. I'm not in great shape and tire easily. I've only been doing the routines for 2 weeks. I feel like I've accomplished something when I am done. The exercises are easy nd you can go at whatever pace you choose. I can't say that I see results on my body yet, but I know that at least I'm finally doing something.
Great easy or hard workout June 29, 2010 suegirl This tape is perfect for different ages and fitness levels. You can do it if you only have 20 minutes to spare without dragging out any equipment. I love the way there is a "count down" so that you know you can just hang in there for a few more minutes!
