This was a gift to my son and daughter-in-law. They couldn't stop watching. It was on every night until they made their way through the first three seasons. The final season is on order and I know they can't wait for that one.

This has been an incredible show...until now. At this point King Henry is older, fat, and in ill health from his leg injury. The leg injury shows up, but then disappears, then reappears, then disappears.... The entire season was rushed. Why? It has about 100 minutes LESS than previous seasons. WHY? I bought the DVD and feel that i was cheated. The story moved too fast with too little explanation about why things were happening. Cromwell has been a vital character and he was sentenced and executed in a flash. What were the producers thinking? Unless things change, i won't be buying the final season.

This is just one of the series I hope to have in my collection. The series really shows England during an exciting time in history. The costumes are magnificent and story lines keep the movie moving.
