Can't Lose. September 3, 2010 AJ This show is packed with great actors who come across as very natural in their roles. Knowing nothing about American Football, I still enjoyed this programme and am sure I'll rewatch it all again soon. There is drama, laughs and sad times and one can't help feel for every character.
Watch the first season August 29, 2010 Judith B. Kempton (USA) Great series Need to watch from first series. Good character development good series see just enough of the football.
Excellent Purchase! April 28, 2010 Wendy E. Wood (Stratford, Taranaki, NZ) I thoroughly enjoyed Season 2 of FNL! Highly recommend this TV series. Can't wait to receive the next season!
Very disapponiting February 27, 2010 I know what you want to see (Atlanta, GA) Having loved the first season I was extremely disappointed in season 2. The stories are tedious and depressing. The constant argueing is simply irritating - nothing more. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the characters of Tyra and Lyla are just so good looking that I couldn't completely hate it. Also, I believe, due to he writer's strike the season ended rather abruptly - in a way I was happy about that because I couldn't stand the sight of "Smash" anymore nor the near constant stuttering of Matt Saracen and Julie Taylor - I mean give it a break already. Let's hope season 3 is better.
One of my favorite television shows October 23, 2009 Louise (Finland) This is a great show to watch for anyone who likes Texas charm, drama and needs a little escape. It surprises me that this show was never really popular, the story line is interesting and the acting looks effortless. I'm not really a fan of football as it's not a popular sport in my country but the football scenes are exciting. I don't like this second season just as much as the first and the third one, but it's watching it is still a very nice way to spend a few rainy days. Okay I have to add: most of these actors look gorgeous.
