5 out of 5 stars Classic film that gets better with each viewing   August 26, 2010
New England Pat (Virginia, USA)
The popular pair of Paul Newman and Robert Redford made arguably their best film with this film of two grifters who get even with a powerful mob figure who murders one of their own. Newman and Redford have plenty of help as they set in motion a complex scheme to get even with a mob figure, knowing that one false step could mean the end for them and their network of cronies who also want a piece of Doyle Lonegan, well played by Robert Shaw. The film is excellent, thanks to a great supporting cast and the music score is also a master stroke and a throwback to the Depression era. An all-time great American movie classic.

5 out of 5 stars Worth repeat viewing - there's always something new   August 24, 2010
Dorothy Norager Haynes (Florence OR)
The Sting story is supberb. So is the acting. The movie itself seemed a bit dark for seeing, esp. in the beginning. I'm glad we got it and plan to see it many times. Not tooo many movies can claim that.

1 out of 5 stars useless   August 6, 2010
Bettyk (Raleigh, NC)
I am unable to view the CD. I have an HD tv and a computer that does not recognize the disk. Have tried the disk on several friends equipment with the same result. This CD was a waste of money.

Don't know if the format is as bad as they say because none of my DVDs will read the disc.

It seems Paul and Robert were made for each other:) both excellent actors and very believeable.
