Good family viewing
January 8, 2009Scene It (Ft. Winnebago, Wi)
Yes, the story lines are a little simple, and the acting isn't always so great. One theme usually dominates everyone's life at the same time - which seldom if ever happens in real life. And yet it is one of the most addictive and loving series ever put on DVD. Watching as a family: It's a wonderful way for parents to open up discussions on a variety of life issues with children of all ages. For the kids: It offers realistic advice for teens and pre-teens who may be wrestling with life issues and aren't sure about the answers. And it gives good pointers on relationships at all levels and ages. On top of all that, it's fun. You'll laugh and cry and have something to think about with every episode. Treat yourself to something good today and buy this DVD series.
The beginnig of the end.

My item arrived without delay. I was pleased with the packing and it was well received as a purchase. I like buying from TvBoxset. Arrives without difficulty and the review is made easy, also it easy to leave a referral
for the seller.

A sweet show, that will catch you off guard

Essentially 7th Heaven is a show about living decently and with kindness in today's world. Ofcourse religion is in the show and a rather even overly strong moral position but its never really forced. Try it and see for yourself, you just might be suprised.
However, the show has some true flaws: sometimes unbelievably bad acting and writing, badly contrived plots and plot devices, and the occasional amnesiac episodes ( where an epsiode is used to bring about a point and then never addressed again and forgotten about ). Despite all these flaws you might find yourself enjoying the very human elements within, smiling at the mundane, laughing at the sweetly absurd, and feeling sad right along with the characters. Not every episode may be for you but with tv thats almost a given with any series.
Give this show a try and see if its for you.
PS. the last two seasons don't exist :P
